How does it work:

When a union bank money user initiates viral send from his mobile and input the beneficiary mobile number, a temporary 4-digit unique code called as OTP (One-time password) is generated by the system and sent to the customer’s (Sender) registered mobile number. The customer needs to convey this OTP number to the beneficiary through a secure channel, as OTP number is secret code and should not be disclosed to anyone other than the recipient. Subsequently a notification SMS is also sent to the beneficiary mobile number provided by the Sender. The Beneficiary can get the cash by visiting any nearest BC Member / Union Bank Money agent location. At the location/ outlet, the beneficiary needs to provide proof of identity and the OTP number (as conveyed by the customer) to the agent. Agent conducts the verification of OTP & hand over the cash to the beneficiary.
